9/2/2023 0 Comments Similar to kiwi for gmailYou can use Kiwi Basic for free, entitling you to one Gmail account and standard features. Click on a link in any email and it goes straight to the default browser on your computer. There is no real integration with Android phones, nor a web browser you can use within Kiwi to quickly look something up. Kiwi is also missing certain Google properties you might want a more direct line to. It doesn’t look like that’s going to change, which is why you’ll benefit from this if you’re already a big Gmail user. So, if you use a different email address for work or personal use and want to bring it in here, you can’t. ![]() The biggest caveat is that you can’t add any non-Gmail accounts. You can select between a light or dark theme, and set how notifications come through, but that’s largely it. You’re also faced with limited customization, otherwise. Unfortunately, there’s no way to shoehorn other extensions into it, even if not officially supported. You can enable or disable these anytime, either at the start, or by going to preferences. As of this review, there’s Boomerang, Right Inbox, Grammarly, Bluejeans, Virtru, Zoom Scheduler and Gmail reverse conversation. Kiwi does work with some plugins and extensions, albeit a short list, and only as a paid subscriber. These shortcuts work so long as Kiwi is open - and even if you’re using another app. ![]() Within preferences, you have access to mapping shortcuts to quickly compose email or open a new calendar entry. There are shortcuts for the main tasks, meaning you don’t have to necessarily switch out of an app to use another. The premise is that you simplify access and reduce the time for workflows. These are a few examples, but you get the picture. Set up Kiwi to launch at startup, so you have an email client open from the start. Drag and drop files from Drive into a new email, or move an attachment into Drive. Work on a Google Doc, and suddenly need to compose an email? Just click the icon for it on the side menu. Kiwi delivers all this in a way that’s meant to be seamless. All your contacts are available, as is a direct line into your Google Drive. ![]() Basically, that means you can get to your Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar and Meets. Where the value is supposed to come in is in giving you Google’s suite of apps in the same interface. The purpose is to move your Gmail usage away from a web browser and over to a desktop client. The gist here is that you download and install Kiwi on your computer, sign up for an account, and then add your Gmail accounts one-by-one. Kiwi’s presence may be more significant for Mac users because some of the other options are Windows-only. Its standalone focus makes it ideal if you’re enmeshed in Google’s ecosystem, even if you only have a couple of Gmail accounts. Kiwi is purely about Gmail, letting you add up to six accounts, and tying into other Google Workspace software on top of that. ![]() It’s standard practice to manage a Gmail account on a web browser, but Kiwi lets you do it with multiple accounts via its desktop app for Windows and macOS.ĭesktop apps that can integrate Gmail aren’t new, but they’re usually part of an application that also integrates other email clients.

If the Packers tie Detroit, then the two teams finish with identical records, and Detroit holds a tiebreaker based on the 1-0-1 head-to-head ledger. What about a Packers tie?Ī tie also means elimination. The Packers have the tiebreaker edge over Seattle based on NFC record, so Seattle's game does not concern the Packers. ![]() Detroit also needs Seattle to lose its finale against the Los Angeles Rams, since the Seahawks have a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Lions. The Kama Sutra does address sex positions, but it’s really only in one section, points out Gigi Engle, a certified sex coach. It gives advice to people on how to enjoy the pleasures of life, including sex.” Vanita explains that the text also encourages people to engage in 64 different forms of art-like cooking, music, and even flower arrangement-to experience pleasure beyond the bedroom. “The Kama Sutra is divided into several chapters. It is the first erotic treatise in the world,” says Ruth Vanita, PhD, a professor of South and Southeast Asian studies at the University of Montana. The Kama Sutra is a 4th century Hindu text written in Sanskrit. “Kama means desire, and Kama Deva is the god of love and desire. While the Kama Sutra is way more than just a sexual guidebook, it’s important to note that it was really the first erotic text of its kind. The main reason for these difficulties is that the fracture line of MDJ fracture is above the olecranon fossa, making it difficult to obtain adequate stability during manual reduction because the cross-sectional area is much smaller than that in the supracondylar region, and the pins tend to cross through the higher fracture site with a route nearly parallel to the humeral axis, which may lead to the decrease of fixation stability ( 12). MDJ fractures are problematic to treat because of their instability and tendency to develop post-operative complications ( 8, 9, 11). The MDJ fracture in children is rare, and it accounts for only 3.3% of displaced fractures at the distal humerus ( 9, 10). This kind of atypical supracondylar fracture has been defined as a distal humeral metaphyseal-diaphyseal junction (MDJ) fracture ( 7, 8). Briefly, it recommends non-surgical immobilization for non-displaced fractures and closed reduction with percutaneous pinning for displaced fractures ( 6).Ī specific variant of humeral supracondylar fracture has been reported in which the fracture line crosses just proximal to the olecranon fossa. At present, a normalized treatment algorithm for the fracture has been established ( 3– 5). The humeral supracondylar fracture is the most common elbow fracture in children ( 1), accounting for 55–75% of elbow fractures in children ( 2). At last follow-up, both groups obtained satisfactory clinical and radiographic outcomes.Ĭonclusion: MDJ fractures can be reduced successfully and fixed stably via a novel CRPP technique, and laborious and frustrating attempts at closed reduction and further open reduction can be avoided. The average duration of the surgery in Group A was significantly shorter than that in Group B ( p < 0.001). Children with successful CRPP in each group were included to compare the efficacy of the novel CRPP technique. In group B, five of the eight fractures were treated successfully with the conventional CRPP technique three fractures needed open reduction, and one of them had further surgery because of the loss of fixation. No complications such as pin-site infection or iatrogenic nerve injury were found in this group. Results: In Group A, all six MDJ fractures were treated successfully with the novel CRPP technique without the need for open procedures or re-operation. Clinical and radiographic outcomes in the two groups were then compared. Eight children underwent the conventional reduction maneuver utilized in supracondylar fracture and were enrolled as Group B. Six children who underwent treatment with a novel CRPP technique were enrolled as Group A. Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 14 children (8 boys and 6 girls) who underwent closed reduction and percutaneous fixation for the treatment of MDJ fractures. The purpose of this study was to evaluate a novel closed reduction and percutaneous pinning (CRPP) technique for the treatment of these fractures. Closed reduction and fixation are challenging and may not be possible with the conventional reduction maneuver utilized in supracondylar fractures. Objective: The metaphyseal-diaphyseal junction (MDJ) fracture is an uncommon but problematic type of fracture occurring at the distal humerus in children. 2Chongqing Key Laboratory of Pediatrics, Chongqing, China.1Department of Orthopaedics, Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Child Development and Disorders, National Clinical Research Center for Child Health and Disorders, Chongqing Medical University, Chongqing, China.Hai Zhou 1,2 †, Ge Zhang 1,2 †, Ming Li 1,2, Xing Liu 1,2, Xiangyang Qu 1,2, Yujiang Cao 1,2, Liuqi Weng 1,2 and Yuan Zhang 1,2 * 9/1/2023 0 Comments Beyonce flawless memes

If a product is packaged for consumer retail and hasn’t yet been purchased in large volumes, a recall’s impact could be minimal. In recall situations, Bowman said consequences can vary. “What happens then is people do end up getting sick.” Mistakes like not washing hands often enough or failing to adequately monitor a product’s temperature are major culprits. “I would say that just the biggest food safety issue is where employees have been, not on purpose, but cutting corners to make production faster,” explained Bowman. How might peanut butter be contaminated with salmonella in the first place? “I don't see that we're going to have a shortage now.” “There are enough other peanut-processing plants out there that are processing under a variety of different labels and brand names, off-brand names,” said Patricia Bowman, an associate professor at Johnson & Wales University’s Food & Beverage Management department.
